Dog beds

What is your idea of a bed for your dog? Is it an elaborate canopied four poster bed or just an old comforter thrown in a corner? I think that most of us have something in between the 2. The idea that pet beds should be an elaborate item stems from the idea that dogs are often treated as a substitute for a child. Often childless families set aside a bedroom just for the dog.

Whether the dog cares one way or another about the type of bed it sleeps in is probably a mute point. The point is, the dog is thought about and cared for.
