Have you watched that TV show, "True Stories in the ER"? I have seen several of them and last night they aired one about the man who took his pet Beagle to the ER. The man was covered in blood and at first glance it looks like his blood. What it was, was the beagle's blood. Apparently the beagle had a seizure of some type and bit its tongue. That is where the blood came from. The funny part about the show was when the medical personnel did with the medical equipment. They tried to give the dog oxygen but the human mask was useless. I was totally dismayed at the lack of common sense the medical team had to begin with. They even tried to put an IV into the dog.
If your dog gets ill or sick, please avoid the local human ER, they have no clue how to treat a dog.
