Watch out for poisonous flowers and plants that your dog might be exposed to

It is getting close to the holiday season and that means that many people choose to send custom flower arraignments and those seasonal plants. What you have to watch out for are which ones can cause problems for your dog or puppy.

Most adult dogs do not bother plants and flower unless they are the type that likes to chew on new things. Puppies will be more of a problem since they will like to explore new things and that often means exploring the item with their mouths.

Rather than me list all of the plants and flowers which could cause health problems with your dog just go to the SPCA website where you can find an extensive directory on poisonous plants. Educate yourself so you can have a happy holiday season and not one that includes expensive vet bills.
