The benefits are great when you feed your dog cottage cheese or yogurt. Both are high in protein and offer an alternative to regular dog food when your dog is recovering from surgery. Often a vet will suggest a diet of cottage cheese and cooked rice for dogs having digestive problems. Yogurt is also well liked by the humans at my house. It also doubles as one of the best acne treatments for humans there is. One FYI, don't feed the flavored yogurt to your dog, just the plain variety.
